Conversational French I

Parlez-vous français? Our beginning level French course introduces students to the basic concepts of the language while focusing on French as a part of everyday life. Topics include common greetings, asking for and giving personal information, basic vocabulary for travelers, colors and numbers, and the fundamentals of pronunciation. Students will learn to hold a basic conversation after this course on the topics that were covered in class. This class meets for eight weeks for 90 minutes per class.

Conversational French II

This course is a continuation of Conversational French I or an entry level class for students who have previously studied French. In this course the basics of French grammar are introduced, but most emphasis is placed on listening comprehension and vocabulary building. Students gain greater confidence in using French in everyday situations.

Intensive Conversational French I

Do you need to learn basic French as quickly as possible? Just like our Conversational French I class, this course will prepare you for basic conversation while also introducing aspects of French life and culture. Topics include greetings, vocabulary for travelers, numbers and much more. However, this course meets twice a week for 90 minutes each class. By meeting twice per week, this class finishes in less than half the time of our regular conversational class.

Intensive Conversational French II

Designed for students who already know the basics and want to improve their French quickly, this class provides the same advancement as Conversational French II in only three weeks. Enroll in Intensive Conversational French I & Intensive Conversational French II in the same session to cover two levels in just eight weeks!

French for Travelers

Make the most of your next trip! This fun four-week course gives you basic French phrase without the grammar. You’ll learn basic greetings, numbers, how to ask for directions, answer basic questions, and, of course, order in a restaurant or bar! The final class is held at an authentic French restaurant to give you more practice ordering.

Intermediate French

If you have a basic knowledge of French grammar, but need to brush up on your skills and want to break out of basic French, then our intermediate level course is for you! This class builds on the basics of French grammar, while introducing the student to more complex forms and working on proper tones. Students enrolled in this course also improve their conversational skills.

Advanced French Conversation

Just looking to keep your French skills sharp? If you have studied French for sometime and already have a good grasp of grammar and a strong vocabulary, this class is for you. Students in our Advanced Conversation class improve their speaking and listening skills through an entirely conversation-based program with a native instructor, while discussing current events and culture in the French-speaking world.

Intensive Weekend

Learn the French basics with 8 hours of instruction, including lunch. Our approach is conversational in nature, with grammar reinforced through continuous conversation and application. Various multimedia sources are used to reinforce retention of vocabulary and grammar. The goal is to surround you in French to the greatest degree possible.

French for the Family

Children ages 3-5 and their families will enjoy this course. Parents, grandparents or guardians join their children in our colorful classroom to learn French words and phrases that they can use at home, too! Conversation, games and hands-on activities makes this a fun and educational session for the whole family. Each session is one hour long.

French Explorers

This introductory level course in French is designed for children ages 6-10. Students learn basic everyday phrases and vocabulary to establish a basis for future learning. This course combines conversation, reading, and hands-on activities with multimedia teaching techniques such as music and video. Each session is two hours long.
